August is a curator of queer experimental films who worked for over eight years at MIX NYC, the organization behind the legendary NY Queer Experimental Film Festival. They have programed community screenings at BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, Union Docs in Brooklyn, Le Petit Versailles in Manhattan, and other small venues in and around NYC. August is always on the lookout for exciting collaborators, queer films, and open minded venues.
